National Payroll Institute

Thank you for taking the time to complete the National Payroll Institute's 2024 Advocacy Survey. This survey has been designed to take as little time as possible, and your responses will be completely anonymous.
A top priority for the National Payroll Institute is to bring forward to federal and provincial/territorial governments the top issues and concerns regarding payroll legislation, regulations, and administration. We know that government agencies, departments, and ministries are not always aware of the administrative burden placed on employers arising from their compliance requirements. You can assist us with this objective to reduce the administrative burden on payroll professionals and employers by completing the following survey.
While individual completion times may vary, we expect the average response time for the survey to be approximately 12-15 minutes. We recognize that your time is valuable. Care has been taken to ensure that only relevant questions are asked.
As a token of our appreciation for your time and efforts, your name will be entered into a draw for one of the following prizes:
- Grand Prize – 1 of 3 $1,000 Amazon gift cards (total value of $3,000)
- 1 of 5 $100 donations to the charity of the winner’s choice (1 per region) (total value of $500)
- 1 of 5 $100 grocery gift cards (1 per region) (total value of $500)
- 1 of 100 $10 coffee cards to the respondents’ choice of either Starbucks or Tim Hortons (total value of $1,000)
If you wish to enter the draw, we will need your name and contact information, which will not be linked to your anonymous responses. You may also choose to complete the survey without being entered into the contest, and you do not have to provide your name and contact information.
Please click here for the contest rules.
Please be candid and forthright and respond to all questions, even if your response is “do not know.” Your individual responses will not be shared with anyone. The National Payroll Institute will use the results of this survey for its advocacy initiatives.
